Dennis DiCapua

Dennis has over 32 years of insurance industry experience,
including twenty-one years of company underwriting experience.
He has served in senior management positions at American International Group, Reliance National and Clarendon Insurance Group
and was the co-founder and principal in a variety of general agency and affiliated businesses, including Newport Advisors,
Express General ("eGeneral") and Newport Claim Services.
Dennis received his MBA degree from the University of Southern New Hampshire
and his BBA degree from the College of Insurance (St. John’s University; New York).

Sheree Davis

Sheree is responsible for the development, implementation, staffing and overall operation
of the Personal Lines division. Most recently, she was the Director of Underwriting and Policyholder Services
for a regional non-standard auto general agency.
Sheree has over 20 years of insurance company and general agency experience and
has served in a variety of managerial, underwriting and administrative positions. |

Paul Zekert
Program Analyst |

Paul joined the Newport team in the fall of 2008 and is responsible for the production and analysis of management, production and profitability reports and assists senior management with overseeing all aspects of our various insurance programs. Paul has been in the insurance industry for over fourteen years and has done extensive actuarial work for local and regional non-standard auto companies. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Mathematics. |

Debra Elliott
Administration

Debbie is responsible for all administrative issues at Newport. Staffing, agency appointments, organizational development as well as general office management fall under her responsibilities. Most recently Debbie was the Director of Administration and HR for a regional non-standard auto general agency. Prior to that, she was a member of the senior management team and HR Manager for a local country club, with a staff of over 175 people. She also served as the Director of HR and Office Manager of a local insurance company. Debbie is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). In addition she also holds a Texas General Lines Agent license (P&C). |

Jacque Tomchesson

Based out of Houston, Jacque handles marketing for Newport. Jacque has over 11 years of experience in marketing non-standard auto to the Texas independent agency market. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and is an active member of the Alliance of Independent Agents of Texas (AIAT) as well as Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) where she was named Marketing Rep of the Year for 2006.

Charlie Manuel

Charlie manages Newport’s marketing in the west and central Texas regions, including the San Antonio and Austin metro areas. His bilingual skills improve Newport’s ability to connect with a key growth sector. He has over 14 years of insurance experience interacting with the independent agents in the state of Texas. In addition, Charlie has conducted continuing education classes throughout Texas.

Gil Lowe

Gil brings over 10 years of insurance industry experience to Newport. As Marketing Representative, he is responsible for the north Texas region, including the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. In addition to his marketing experience with a leading personal lines insurance company, Gil also has an underwriting and human resources background.

Thelma Beltran

Thelma brings over 7 years of general agency insurance experience to Newport. As lead underwriter, she is responsible for underwriter and customer service training in addition to her underwriting duties. Thelma’s attention to, and care of, our agents and insureds is her primary concern which makes her a shining star in the Underwriting Department.
